Lesson 1:
A Guitar is basically a wooden made instrument that has 6 strings. The thinnest string is the 1st string which is the lowest one. The broadest string is the 6th string which is the upper one.
There are 3 types of guitars: 1) Hawain Guitar 2) Spanish Guitar (most commonly used by everyone) 3) Base/Bass Guitar
String Names: 1st - E 2nd - B 3rd - G 4th - D 5th - A 6th - E

Lesson 2: Tones
there are 7 natural tones.
Sign for Sharp - # Sign for Flat - b
Natural Tones - C , D , E , F , G , A , B Sharp Tones - C#,D#, F#,G#,A# Flat Tones - Db,Eb, Gb,Ab,Bb
Imp: i) E & B have no sharp tones. ii) C & F have no flat tones. iii) Sharp tones are half tone greater than Natural Tones. iv) Flat tones are half tones lesser than Natural Tones.
Ex: Ascending - Descending C, C#, D - D, Db, C
Ex: C# = Db = C#
Lesson 3: Frets & Fret Board
Frets are the small columns designed in. The complete board is called a fret board. The fret adjacent to the Nut is the 1st fret.
Every point played on the fretboard makes a sound. These sounds can be noted as:
According to the above figure, When u play the 1st string without touching the fret board, U'll be playing the "E" note. But when u keep your 1st finger on the 1st fret on 1st string, The sound changes & U'll play the "F" note. It goes on as u go further. 2nd fret on 1st string will sound "F#" note and so on. Same is the case with the rest of the strings.
For more clear understanding:

Its just that we can use F# or Gb. Both the tones are the same. I have explained the Sharp/Flat funda more deeply in the Tones Lesson

Sorry Aadeez for being late. Lets start with the next lesson.
Lesson 4:
I think you all have got a good Idea about what a fret is, what a Tone is & the different parts of guitar. I'll start with the fingering exercise. You'll have to get a guitar now.
Keep your 1st finger on the 7th fret, 1st string. then 2nd finger on 8th fret, 1st string. 3rd finger on 9th fret, 1st string. 4th finger on 10th fret, 1st string.
I'll search for a video on youtube & post so that u can actually get what a fingering practice is.

Lesson 4 (Cont.):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-Btch1qpRY
You have to hold a plectrum (Pick) in your right hand & you have to push it against the string. You can understand by watching the video, how the guitarist does it. It is called Stroking. The guitarist in the video is doing all down strokes, where as I recommend that u do the stroking alternately, 1 down stroke & then 1 up stroke. Every time u play anything on guitar, your stroking should be alternate (down - up - down - up...)
Other thing is, the guy in the video starts the exercise from 1st fret. I recommend that you start the exercise from 7th fret. (7th-8th-9th-10th)
Keep your 1st finger on the 7th fret, 1st string. then 2nd finger on 8th fret, 1st string. 3rd finger on 9th fret, 1st string. 4th finger on 10th fret, 1st string.
After you are done with the 1st string (7-8-9-10), move up to the 2nd string, the same sequence on the same frets. after that move to 3rd string then 4th, 5th & 6th but on the same frets (7-8-9-10)
