I have created this topic on behalf of our friend Aami Titli.

When we hear Aadee’s songs, each one of us experiences a feeling of bliss, pure satisfaction and fulfillment. The songs serve as a path to the world of
magic and enchantment; desires and dreams.  

 We want to visualize this world of yours.

 But how?

 Through mere - words, simple expressions and a tinge of your raw emotion sprinkled here and there. :))
 I guess this will make a perfect mixture and enable all of us to traverse along with you, to that unknown and unseen sphere of life. 

 Because what I feel is that, we all need to bring our inner selves out. How else do we appreciate his music if we cannot realize the intensity of its impact on us? And this topic aims to inspire all Aadeez to write…pour your heart out…leap with joy and write anything and everything that you feel when you hear a song sung by our icon.  This is the origin of the topic – Feel His Music. =D


Lets start with a very famous track -  Jalpari

I shall be posting her write up on the same and would love all of you to express yourselves too. Have Fun =D

 

     JALPARI – ATIF ASLAM- MY FEELINGS
                                                                        
                                                                                  - AAMI TITLI

Admiring an unseen beauty is strange. Dreaming an unreal dream and the hope that it shall come true, one fine day, may help a man live the moment of his life. The evolution and history of mankind is rather intriguing and an unsolved mystery. The blend of science and legend still fail to convince many.

But, as of now let’s forget all that – what has been proved and what not, reality and imagination, Universe, Earth, planets, moon, man, animal, etc.

Once and for all let me again ask you a few rather simple questions which you might find very difficult to answer – Where are we heading to, after 2 million years of our branching off from our common ancestors?

 What defines our destination?

How tempting is this hunger and thirst that all of us have turned blind, deaf and dumb to our surroundings?

Why is the cry of the unknown still unheard, their plea ignored?

The singer uses his talent and his voice to ensure that this cry echoes in the heart of every concrete jungle and it’s in- habitants.
Considering the third sphere of this planet - WATER
Atif Aslam has thrown light upon the silent murmur of its most unique and precious creature – Mermaids (Jalpari).

A mermaid is a mythological aquatic creature with a female human head, arms, and torso and the tail of a fish. A male version of a mermaid is known as a "merman" and in general both males and females are known as "merfolk". Mermaids are represented in the folklore, literature and popular culture of many countries worldwide.

She sits on the rock, waves of the dark blue ocean splashing around her. She loves the world she belongs to- the depth of it, the silence of it, the pleasure of it still being undiscovered by men, the feel of the strong white foam as though protecting her every second, the beauty of the corals and fish, the way she summersaults with joy when a ship floats above her.

However, seldom has she said to herself - "There is something really attractive in those humans!"

Then one night she finds herself blessed to survive on land and water. She rushes to the surface to view the world there- colorful, vibrant and what not. She places herself on a sturdy rock and sits there every night.

Years pass by – The waves are the same, the ocean still dark and strong, the rocks have not budged an inch, but the excitement in her has shrunk. Disappointment, grief and anxiety have spread across her face.  She notices that the air she once inhaled now suffocates her. The sound of vehicles, music, crackers, humans, wind now disturb her as though they no longer are sounds- they are noise. The trees have somehow changed into gigantic buildings and the city now shines so much that staring too hard is now a pain to her soft blue eyes.  Nowadays she needs to conceal herself more often in those terrific rolling waves.  The thought of diving back is now more comfortable and soothes her mind and soul.

The singer has rather beautifully conveyed these thoughts.  It seems as though he perceives himself to be a Merman. He wants the world to stop for a while and enjoy the silence of stillness. He wants man to realize the value of life and the art of living it. The feeling of unity and brotherhood seem to have lost. Man has entered into a rat race of fulfilling his own unlimited desires. War, exploitation, jealousy, hatred kills the very essence of birth. He wants man to surrender himself to nature and strike a modest balance.

AtifAslam is someone we all must look up to. Till date he has made tremendous efforts not only to flourish and succeed in life as an individual but has ensured an all-round development.  Right from terrorism to natural disasters he has actively participated in all such causes. He is a Blessing in disguise to his own country. He pleads with all human beings: -

“Hear the cry of the unheard. Of the unknown. The unseen...
   Feel their pain and heal it with all you have………………………”

   We (Tuffy Aadeez and Aami Titli) take the initiative to heartily wish all our fellow Aadeez friends a very :-  

                    "Happy World Music Day" 

Music is the primary / root cause that binds all of us together on this platform. It is the seed that has been well nurtured over time and has turned itself into a beautiful flowery plant – fresh and ever growing. It has been well said that – when words fail music speaks. It is music that washes away the dust of everyday life from our soul and bridges the infinite spiritual gap between two living beings.

We all are mistaken when we say that music is felt through the notes of a song…  No... Music can be felt in the silence between the two notes. 

So, Aadeez lets celebrate this day not only by marking the importance of music but also by paying tribute to the origin / base that connects us all together so wonderfully.

Lets all of us come up with atleast a few lines on how music plays a role in our day-to-day life. Highlight the moments when you feel that you need music, the most, because nothing else can heal you.  Do post your views.
